During hotter parts of the day, visit the River of Time Museum, Fountain Hills Library, Fountain Hills Theater or one of the town's locally owned shops and restaurants.
Early mornings and evenings are better suited for Fountain Park, the Avenue of the Fountains and the community's public-art collection. Carry water, protect pets from hot pavement and avoid strenuous outdoor activity during excessive heat.
