Steve Vargo

Steve Vargo is President and owner of MCO Realty, which he purchased from MCO Properties, a subsidiary of Maxxam, the parent company in Houston, Texas; and the master developer of Fountain Hills.

Steve relocated from his home state of Michigan- where he spent his first 15 years in real estate- to join MCO Realty as an agent in 1992. For the past 25 years, he has served as an agent, Sales Manager, VP/Designated Broker, and now proudly serves as the new owner. Steve's early involvement with MCO Realty and MCO Properties is invaluable for his clients and agents. He has been instrumental in helping shape the hometown charm of Fountain Hills while working to preserve the town's natural beauty. In his own words, Steve says, "Fountain Hills is a truly beautiful place to live. You could almost say it has sold itself over the years. But, it takes more than great scenery to sell a successful community." Vargo also says, "Ultimately, I think you have to give credit where it's due. We've got a great group of exceptional, customer-oriented sales executives who really know what they're doing- and who really mean it when they say 'Expect Excellence'".

"Moving forward," Steve says, "We will continue to be the Hometown Real Estate Company with Global Reach. Most of our agents live in Fountain Hills and actively participate in the array of varied activities the community offers. From a marketing standpoint, we invest more in our advertising outreach than any other Fountain Hills real estate firm. Going forward, our plans are to continue those initiatives with our residential, commercial and custom lot expertise. The results during my time at MCO Realty speak for themselves as we are very proud of sales totaling over $2.5 billion since 2000."

On a personal note, Steve and his wife, Yvonne, raised their two sons in Fountain Hills and you'll find Steve Jr. closely following his father's lead after obtaining his real estate license in April 2016. As the new owner of MCO Realty, Steve possesses a strong commitment to the town and the real estate industry. Local ownership will only streamline and enhance the company's, and sales executive's already strong ability to respond to and service past, current and future customers and clients.

Judi Otis

Office Manager
 
Judi was born in Berkeley, California and grew up in the beautiful Bay Area. At 18, she joined Kaiser Permanente Medical Group; and, for 15 years, worked her way into the position of internal auditor. She gained invaluable experience; which certainly contributes to her long success with MCO Realty.

Judi, her husband and two daughters moved to the California Sierras in 1981 as they raised their family; and, after 13 years decided to relocate to Fountain Hills; which has been home ever since.

On July 18, 2017, Judi celebrated 23 years with MCO Realty. The growth and changes, in Fountain Hills, over that period of time have been monumental; however, Judi says, “Fountain Hills retains that hometown charm that is so appealing. It’s out of the hectic city; but, just a short drive to all the conveniences of Scottsdale and Phoenix.”

Judi’s two daughters attended school in Fountain Hills and went on to college. Her oldest daughter and husband, have two amazing sons. She claims, “My grandsons are the cutest ever and such a joy to be with!” Her youngest daughter spent six years in South Korea and moved back to the states last December. She now lives and works in Fountain Hills.

In addition to enjoying her grandsons…Judi loves gardening!

 

Rachel Hobbs

Rachel is originally from Ohio, but moved to Fountain Hills when she was 3 months old, which almost qualifies her as a native!

Starting her work life, Rachel jumped into the travel and airline industry working for America West Airlines; who offered fun and adventurous opportunities. Once she started her family, Rachel changed her focus to real estate as a contracts paralegal; where she now assists the MCO Realty team. She brings 20 years experience to support their sales efforts; and is a valuable team member assisting in marketing and contract administration.

Rachel's two boys are now 17 and 20! She soon becomes an empty-nester when her youngest son starts college. She is also planning a wedding to her long time boyfriend, Jimmy, this December 2017. Rachel enjoys hiking and spending leisure time with family and friends and her dog, Charlie, a basset/mastiff mix ... and giant baby, who will continue to fill the nest.

Lori Bentley

Receptionist and Administrative Assistant

Lori was born in Pueblo, Colorado and moved to Glenwood Springs, Colorado when she was 4 years old. She came to Phoenix in 1980 where she met her husband. Happily married for 34 years Lori has two outstanding sons; and two incredibly special granddaughters. In 1991 the family moved to Atlanta, GA for six years; but, came back to Fountain Hills where they have settled into the great Arizona lifestyle.

Lori is the first person you'll meet at MCO Realty. Her welcoming personality and smiling face greet you upon entry. As receptionist and administrative assistant she not only makes you feel at home, she assists the broker and agents wherever necessary in their marketing and sales efforts. She also, processes listings, places ads and maintains the MCO Realty online presence.

Lori enjoys spending time with her sons and their families, particularly her granddaughters as often as time and distance allows. She and her husband enjoy driving the state and taking in all the beauty of Arizona.
